Still trying to figure out how to avoid getting speeding tickets. Haven't received one yet but I know they are coming. The problem in itself is the fact that it feels like you are going 20mph slower than you actually are.
AND you are a more attractive target.

Just set cruise control on the PSL everywhere you go.

By not going over the speed limits.
Easier said than done. I am not a person who normally speeds but this car really asks for it.

Yep. Race Red not helping me out one bit. Going the speed limit I feel like I'm still going to get pulled over, but at the same time I feel like I'm driving like a grandma. It's quite the conundrum.

I've driven muscle cars and I've driven grandma cars for over 35 years and the muscle cars always lose the battle with speeding tickets unless you learn self control or start getting proactive with some counter measures.

Believe it or not self control is actually easier and it's free.

Depending on where you live, a laser jammer is a god send! Ohio is almost 100% laser and in one 18 month period I got 6 tickets in my bright yellow Focus ST, all from laser. I had one of the top of the line radar detectors which had kept me out of trouble up until then but it seemed like over night everyone was using laser and my detector was useless. The laser jammer has saved my ass probably 30+ times where I was at least 10 or more over PSL, and I have been hit with laser probably 80+ times total after install about 2 years ago. Totally worth the price of entry to get a quality one. I recommend Anti Laser Priority, they are the best in the business.

Take it to the track. You tend to slow down and drive safer on the street once you've had that experience.
I think you've hit the nail on the head. When I used to race karts it would have the same effect. Now I just need to hit 1000 miles and have the recall taken care of.

I think there's some confusion between people racing and people driving over the speed limit to make time on long trips. They are very different things.

My problem exactly.

True. The more miles I put on it the more restraint I have.

Responsible adult?

I cannot say I always operate my vehicle within all of the laws of the road, but when I do get caught, I accept it and move on. I just consider it a fun tax.

GT350? Probably a Judge. There's a Porsche Panamera in my parking garage that says "State Judge" on the license plate.

I'm sure it says that so he can recognize his car.
