This car seems to attract haters. I've already had someone at a store parking lot (apparently intentionally) park their car about 6" away from my driver's side door so there was no way I could get in when they had plenty of room to park elsewhere. Had to get in through the passenger door and ease out of that spot very carefully (which sucked, because I had about two days' experience of driving manual at that point). I was going to wait to confront them when they came back to their car, but assumed they were probably crazy and decided it wasn't worth it.

It looks like you have a locking lug nut on each wheel correct?

If I had to guess, I'd say someone was looking to steal your wheels, saw that you had a locking lug on them and decided to slash/stab your tire instead. You can look at it this way those lugs saved you from coming out to a car sitting on concrete blocks with no wheels. Some people are human trash unfortunately.

When I bought my GTO new in 2004, that Fall someone actually laid 20 caltrops (bent sharpened nails fabricated and welded together to flatten tires) at the base of my driveway with leaves over the top of them. With all the leaves I didn't see them and got 2 flat tires out of the deal, luckily not all 4. If I remember correctly I turned it into insurance and just had to pay my deductible. Some people are just human trash as I said. Karma will catch up to them. Good luck my friend. :)

I bought this house in Maryland for the commute. My real home is in DC. I'm seriously considering to move out.
PG county?? If so I am not surprised this happened to you.... My family used to live in PG tell our house/garage was broken into 4 times and 2 attempts at stealing cars in the driveway. This all happened within a year. That was our wake up call to leave.

Sucks man. But who knifes just one tire and leaves the paint pristine? No other damage the vehicle?

Calvert county. Seems it's not safe anywhere.

I'm from Clinton and I can defiantly say PG is nowhere near safe. Almost as bad as some areas in DC.

Sorry to hear bud, some people really deserves a good old fashion beating but the law is against it so even if u see someone doing that u can't even touch that person all u can do is call the police and let them deal with it. Which i hate it by the way. I totally feel your pain. I m glad its just the tire no damage to the paint.

Good and bad areas everywhere. There are some really nice areas of PG as well.

Yeah I grew up on teaberry way off of thrift road with my mother. But my father stayed in Bowie so that was a bad area also.

Agreed. Also to me it does not look like a knife job and I would not assume so unless you have reason to suspect someone.

I think the P zero just failed due to the cold weather and cracked the side wall, since it does zig some as it goes down, rather than a even vertical line.
