Other than condensation in my fogs ( warranty) and a small coolant leak at the over flow bottle hose, my 15' has been bout perfect. Mine was a late 15' build though.

i have a 2015 and panel alignment was fine. Just go inspect the car you want in person. I havent been to the dealer once for any warranty work

I have a 2015, and the car is utterly perfect.

The only thing I noticed is the paint IS thin. I have a small chip in the front with 1200 miles. Easily fixed, just annoying. But my 2011 Infiniti G37 was the same way so it's not necessarily a mustang thing.

Fender/Hood/Headlight area might have a bigger gap on one side than another. Easily fixable according to this forum
Backseat Leather fitment might look off
Rear bumper, rear quarterpanel might have a gap.

These seem most common.

With all you just said... Have you driven it yet? My 2016 has a few issues, but none at all? Come on.. How many miles?
:ford: Every Mustang has wheel hop, every!
I have driven it. I have had it for almost 2 months and over 1000 miles.
That includes 2 autocross days some spirited driving and some just cruising around. I have pushed the car a bit and have not experienced the wheel hop problem that was very much in evidence on my old S197. Even in places where I know the S197 would do it's best impression of a jackrabbit on crack it's simply not an issue.

Do I have issues with the design? Sure, it is too heavy, too much unsprung mass, rear seat delete wasn't a factory option on the GT PP, can't see the right hood mounted turn signal over the hood ridges, no factory option for a square 19x10 or 19x11 wheel setup, the PP wheel design is a pain in the ass to clean, sunglasses storage compartment isn't large enough for a Maui Jim's hard case, no factory option for the Torsen with alternate gearing ratios, and no factory 91 only tune.

Do I have issues with the car as built to the design? No. So far no issues.
It doesn't leak, rattle, grind, or make strange noises. The paint is fine, the body panels all line up the way they are supposed to. There are no apparent defects in the interior. I have tested every system I can on the car and it works the way it is supposed to, obviously this excludes things like air-bags, and I haven't had to use the emergency tire kit thing but I have no reason to doubt that these will function in the designed manner if needed. I have zero issues with the as-delivered state of the car.

My '16 is very, very good. Panel alignment isn't perfect, but it's very close. I went over the paint with a very anal fine toothed comb - there's a piece of dirt in it on the passenger door sill.

Every time I look at the car I smile and when I step on the gas I grin like an idiot.

I had a 2015 Ecoboost. Small dimple in the top of the drivers side rear quarter panel if you looked at it just right that I noticed after a month. Not sure if it came that way. The dash made a popping noise once in a great while. I had all bolt ons except for exhaust and my next step was a big turbo and meth. Decided instead for doing that I would get a GT and leave it stock. I drive my cars til the wheels fall off and I didn't see the ecoboost making 120000 miles like that. The 2016 GT has been perfect so far. I think most of these cars are fine, you just hear about the problems on discussion boards.

Why would you put a case in the sunglass holder? Its felt lined and just wrap a lens cloth around them and stick them in. Its what i do

I get random rattles in the dash, that seem to move around and vary with the weather.

I have noticed a couple very small imperfections in the paint.

The base audio system is awful.

Other than that, I love the car, and I can tell you despite all of this, it puts a way bigger smile on my face than my 335i Msport convertible ever did. There is just something about a loud, torquey Mustang.

I have a 2016 GT with PP 401A. This car was a surprise to me from my wife. She bought it with out driving or looking over it. I took the car into the dealership once since purchase for a warranty work. Window gasket had to be replaced. 0 mechanical issues so far. I get random rattles here and there, but honestly I think it's from the engine's rumble shaking and vibrating the car. It comes and goes. I enjoyed driving it so much, I put 2500miles on the car in the first month. It comes with a warranty, I wouldn't lose sleep over it. I don't baby my cars.. I need things to break, if it is going to, while the car is under warranty. Buy it, Drive it, Enjoy it!! Paints chips are inevitable if you drive your car on public roads, panel alignments can be fixed with warranty... What are you waiting for? Go get your Mustang!!

You should wait for the 2018

The s550 won't be perfect until late 2018 so you should cancel your order and wait......just kidding..

I have a 2015 got it April last year and problem free..

Some of the 1st series (late 2014)were a little rough but Ford has gotten better..good luck on the purchase and the warranty and your trusted dealer will help with any adjustments.

Of course I knew I was gonna mod mine with body work and performance parts so I am not as demanding for things like panel alignment and squeaks and rattling buy it totally get those who are: you pay a note and you expect an awesome stang that is 100% there

OP you car will be fine :ford:

So far my 16 is good. Only 200+ miles so far, but no issues.
