The one thing I've never understood on this chart is how the engine is still producing equivalent (and in some cases more) horsepower around the 6300 mark when the boost is recorded as a full pound less. The best I can figure is that it's just the lack of lag in the beginning and because it takes less to keep the turbine spinning. Still though... Holding a pound less, I would expect some drop off. Which, is nuts to see.
Yep lol. It’s like the reverse of the guys that bitch about losing tq down low with an intake mani swap. When are you really down that low in the power racing other than maybe an off idle punch at the track in 1st gear?Feel sorry for that engines bottom end. WOT and boost at 3,000 rpm.
