It would seem 62s might be the ticket....although 55s would likely exceed my needs/plans. Decisions.

A lengthy installation time is no issue either. Since I'm in MN the winters can basically eat up five months of the year, so a patient, detailed install isn't a big deal. As long as I can pull it off with the car on stands I'm good.

Keep the good stuff coming, guys.

Just curious here, how much boost are you guys running for daily use. And if you're on an eBoost what do you have your wastegates regularly set at?

For DD, stay with smaller turbo and BB for quick boost, otherwise it will feel like a Centri S/C. The BB not only boost faster, but lasts longer too. A great investment.

Nothing better than a TT on a V8.

Now that I live in a less restrictive state, I wish i had gotten the Hellion kit. The Beef special is great for entry-level boost, but, like others have said, with longtubes, you’re sniffing 55 territory....

Does anyone have pics of the low hanging exhaust pipes on the Hellion kit?

This is literally the only thing holding me back but I cant seem to find any pics of the routing or low hanging pipes anywhere.

Is it really an issue, or no?

The one thing I've never understood on this chart is how the engine is still producing equivalent (and in some cases more) horsepower around the 6300 mark when the boost is recorded as a full pound less. The best I can figure is that it's just the lack of lag in the beginning and because it takes less to keep the turbine spinning. Still though... Holding a pound less, I would expect some drop off. Which, is nuts to see.

Feel sorry for that engines bottom end. WOT and boost at 3,000 rpm. Soooooo much load.

Yep lol. It’s like the reverse of the guys that bitch about losing tq down low with an intake mani swap. When are you really down that low in the power racing other than maybe an off idle punch at the track in 1st gear?

One other thing you want to add to your list. A hood with better heat extraction. You will build a lot of heat in engine bay. Even Dodge is adding bigger heat extractors to the 2019 Challenger.
