I absolutely love mine. Real smooth in normal driving. RPM's stay real low for good fuel economy. Almost feels like a CVT when you are doing normal acceleration in daily driving. When romping on it, it seems to keep the RPMs between 6000 and 7500 RPM. Shifts are nice and hard (kinda feels like a manual tranny on hard acceleration). I have a Lund tune which made the shifting even better, but under hard acceleration get some minor wheel spin as high as the 4th to 5th gear shift.

I test drove it, its definitely fast and the shifts are smooth.

But I still chose the MT, just more fun imo. If a majority of your driving is spent drag racing then get the auto.

I love mine. The shifts got smoother the test drive it was rough. But the ore you drive it the more it learns.

I kid, but like others, I like fun of shifting... however my dad used to say "I shift gears for a living, I don't want to when I'm not working"... of course he was always working.
