So Guildford haven't improved. I bought mine from them 3 years ago and wasnt happy about the delivery condition, and even less happy about service performance and attitude to issues. Incompetent and arrogant is how I described them. I switched to their Farnborough branch and have been relatively happy since (although they did apparently put the wrong oil in once!). At Farnborough the manager and staff seem to care, unlike Guildford.
Yours is such a clear case of damage caused by them, and during their attempt to make good defects, I would proceed straight to a solicitors letter stating you will be getting corrective work done else where at their expense. cc the letter to Ford HQ. Your photos are damning.
Meanwhile after three re-gasses they have admitted mine has a leaky evaporater.
