Single piece aluminum worth it?

Starting to buy mods for my newly aquired 2015 mustang gt. This is going ro be a street strip car. I am buying alot of small stuff first (twin disk clutch, fuel system upgrade, hand held tuner and such) getting ready for the hellion sleeper kit down the line. (Summer 2020) anyways, is the one piece aluminum drive shaft worth it? Heard stories of bad vibrations and what not. I was planning on installing the barton short throw shifter, drive shaft, and clutch in this winter. I am one of those who want to do it once and be done with it. Figured since i dread pulling the transmission might as well knock that stuff out first.

Yup, do it and don’t look back. Go straight for Shaftmasters one pc. The majority of the other shaft companies rely on unnecessary bolt-on adapters to attach their driveshaft. Shaftmasters gets it done with single attachment points front & rear.
IRS lockout is mandatory to get this car to feel like a real muscle car. It’s a Powder Puff as delivered from Ford.

"worth it" depends on what you want/expect from the driveshaft. If you want/expect lower ET it is likely to be a big disappointment unless you are chasing those last few hundredths of a second.

worth it I know is subjective. I know it's not going to drop ET's I am thinking about putting power to the ground. I hear you put more power down and its a lot more reliable when it comes to racing.

Don't forget, it is less rotating weight.

Manual life on the strip dictates that the shaft may not even be an optional upgrade, unless you want to keep replacing bolts in the guibo....
I went QA1 for several reasons. Cost wasn’t one of them...:curse:
As @Dalton@Evolution mentioned, a CV is pretty handy when getting the angles right (less to deal with).
The fact that they actually torque test them is also promising.
Finally, not destroying the underside of the car (or yourself) IF it fails is a pretty handy thing.
