Did you check the angle once installed to make sure it wasn’t out of spec.

Four different cars with four different 1pc shafts? Any have QA1 CF?
i contacted qa1 via a vendor and with all my frustration i wanted a gaurantee that if it went on and vibrates that i would get a full refund including shipping...i didnt get a concrete commitment other then to be told the standard reaponse of it would have to go back on warranty etc etc...

Obviously, I can’t guarantee you anything either. Only tell you that I have 0 NVH from mine.

i dont mind harmonics but what inmind is the vibrating....and it seems like there arent many folks out there with an a10 and an aluminum ds that doesnt vibrate at some speed. i have a stock one on my car atm and its likely going to stay that way....

What about trying CCI Driveline, that 1320 chick said she has no issues with vibration.

yes i saw her bideo where she briefly talked about how they came to her dads shop and measured her car for the specs...i was going to reach out to her, i may give cci a call and see if they can make one and what gaurantee they will offer...she is likely the only one not to have vibrations above 55mph that i know of....the cost doesnt really matter to me either aslong as it doesnt vibrate its worth the cost...

Well the OP wanted to know if there was a solution.

Many of you have shimmed the trans down, with success. I myself have experienced similar success.

So that said, this is not a BMR part # or an "official" part....but I spent some time putting together some hardware if any of you are interested.

Two options.

1: Adjustable Shim Kit. $40 shipped
-Adjustable from .068" to .396" using (6) shims per mount that are .068" thick
-(4) new Grade 10.9 bolts that are proper length to account for shimming, with zinc coated washers

2: Fixed Shim Kit. $47 shipped.
-Fixed .250" shim kit.
-(4) Stainless Steel shims, precise fit, that are .250" thick
-(4) Grade 10.9 Bolts for proper thread engagament, with zinc coated washers.

If you want these, you have to call me. They are not a specific BMR product and do not have a specific part # - I have to manually enter the products.

Here's a couple snaps of the crossmember and with the shims installed...

1/4" shim took my output shaft angle from down 1.5 degrees to down 2.5 degrees. Pinion angle is +3.5 degrees.

Let us know if you get anywhere with that company as others may go that route, if it works without vibration the only explanation would be that they know how to properly balance a driveshaft.

entire situation just blows me away, how are these companies able to release a product that then vibrates when it gets on the customers car? if its an issue with the car and different angles then these co’s need to account for that and not just leave it up to the end user to figure it out....i called cci, they were more then happy to quote me $940 for a custom shaft like 1320 chick + a little more for shipping...they didnt gaurantee it wouldnt vibrate...i asked if they ever installed one they said no, in 1320chicks case they went to her dads shop measured what they needed to and made it...i suppose her dads shop did the install....this is a clusterphuk if you ask me....i can continue to dish out $1000 at a time in search of a non vibrating DS, i can keep one of them and try other things like mentioned here a bolt and shim kit for the trans cross member etc etc...or roll the dice at 900+ hp with the stock one.
