Okay, so the deal is the car is sitting in the body shop getting the repairs done. Since I am waiting I am looking for a present for her when she gets out of the shop. MMD V Series Side Scoops or the Roush ones. Which ones do you believe gives a smoother look to the car. I seriously can't decide which way to go.

Not a fan of sticking anything on a car. You need one more choice for your poll. :)

I have said for decades if you can stick it on a car, and it has no purpose, you walked down the wrong isle at PepBoys. Not a slam on you, that's just me.

I have to agree with Lost on the scoops. While I'm not opposed to ALL stick ons, the side scoops on the current S550 bodies take away from the design, IMO.

What's those guys said is not helpful at all...

Go with the Roush ones. I think they look the best plus it seems like you already have some Roush parts already.

If I had to choose, Roush. But I'm not a huge fan of side scoops.

Although non functional, side scoops have been around since the beginning of the Mustang. I thought about the Roush scoops, but primarily because everyone was putting them on their cars I decided to go with the Cervinis side scoops which IMO give a more aggressive appearance and since I get tons of compliments I'm pretty sure I made the right decision. Of course if it's between the Roush and Foose scoops I'd probably go with Foose for the same reason. You just don't seem them on a lot of our cars.

Yeah I am defiantly up in the air with the side scoops. I personally would love them to be functual but we can't have everything. As far as the clean lines of the car, Getting something to flow with the body appears difficult. Simular to purchasing a rear spoiler.

Personally I don't like the Roush ones. They are really square for a not very square looking car. I actually just put on the V Series ones and am diggin it for now. I would just ignore the "Don't do it if its not functional" type of comments, because manufacturers do a lot to cars for appearance only which are not functional. Just take a look through Mustang history. To me its almost heritage for stick on goodies and stripes and such with Mustangs. Do what makes you happy because that is all that matters! Personally I got a Mustang because I love the accepted culture of making it your own. It does look great stock... just like every other stock looking Mustang.

I would have gone with the V series as well. I'm very very happy with them.
