Hey guys!
I tried finding the answer to this before positing but couldn't get anything concrete...first my mods:
I have a 2019 Mustang GT PP1 with Corsa Sport/Extreme Active Catback, Steeda Pro-Flow CAI and PBD Tune.
Gonna stay Naturally Aspirated and want to get the most power out of it to enjoy spirited driving.
Here's the Issue - I only have 91 octane here in Boulder, CO and the only station that has E-85 is really only E-65. (New Boulder Gas on 28th St.)
I'm tempted to just run the E85 (E65 ethanol here) and do some data logs to send to PBD and have them workout the best tune....but when it snows here I don't drive around and she can sit for a week (which I heard can be bad for the car because E-85 is hygroscopic - meaning over time it will absorb water and if it is left sitting for a while (More than 5 days I've heard) there will begin to be phase separation (water sitting on top of the fuel) and can cause corrosion
What fuel would you experienced guys recommend I run?
1. E65 and just make sure to start the car every day?
2. 91 Octane with Boostane Professional to bump up the octane to 110
Any guidance is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
