and again financially.. 2016 are now going out cheaper bec they want to clear the lots. plus many awesome colors are going out like DIB, guard, CO
You're right, I'm kinda leaning towards 2016 because of CO

16. 17's are no different

Yeah they are not but I heard the 2018 appearance package would have 20s instead of 19s

for the record. I traded my wife's car in and it needed all 4 tires. On original tires at 56k miles and all they did was consider 4 tires $500 off the trade value I negotiated up. traded 2011 in on a brand new 2015 car in nov 14... I said, deal! It wouldn't even be worth the time or the money to put tires on it and she got what she wanted.
That helps, thanks.

Do y'all realize that this is the last year that Ford will be manufacturing a standard transmission?

Spend the next two to three months checking out end of model year discounts on the 2016 Mustang GT. You may find deals too good to pass up. All the money you could save on a 2016 could persuade you to buy the Mustang GT you really want.

yes all these guys are responsible for me trading by EB to GT...
Hey Sid I'd be curious to know how much more you like your GT over your EB. I have a 15 EB and I love it, but I could see the day when I may want to take the power leap. Was it worth it to you, and why?

Thanks

Let me start with saying if you do it you wont regret it.

my eb was tuned , had intercooler from moshi, mbro race catback and downpipe. I was among first here who had bough EB back in 2014 as all know it.

My eb had ample power, good fun. I had bought EB majorly to see the capability of this new platform and i must say it has not let me down loved it loved it.

2. The day you are seeing right now, i saw in middle of 2015, its just i was waiting for 2016 models. Then i shifted to new place , so again it got postponed by 4 months but yes it was always on cards.

Reason: i have multiple reasons to do it.
a. turbo power is nice but nothing beats power directly coming from naturally aspirated v8. You will feel it when you press the gas paddle, you will feel instant power surge.

b. With all mods in EB you can safely make 400 hp without shitting the stock block. beyond that it is risky. Now GT gives you 435 out of the door.

c. Now my EB premium was 29876 +almost 4k in mods that makes approx. 34k with Modded engine and yet barely touch GT stock. Its good enough but again modded vs stock power . for me v8 wins.

d. i got great deal. i sold all my mods for 3k plus got 23k for my EB and i got GT premium 401a package for 34450 OTD.

e. V8 growl is something , once you hear it and feel it you wont turn back.

i lost 3k total in this jump? sold my lovely Mods? Was it all worth it?(Lines directly coming from Uncharted 4 Thief's End game). I would say Yes. definitely.
whether other should do it : My suggestion calculate everything. all expenses. my insurance went up by 8 dollars, installment by 50 bucks , mpg gone down by 4 ( as i have put new exhaust and i rev it heheh). for me is that upgrade was worth keeping all these overhead expenses ? Yes it was well worth it. For others it is subjective.

Thanks for the detailed response, Sid. Have a feeling I'll need to have one at least once, but time will tell.
