I am in agreement with you. Next time I get wheels maybe I’ll do 19’s. But I think the gap is minimal and has the look of a lowered car.

What kind of sway bars do most of you suggest? Should I just get the Steeda so they are all the same brand and they are adjustable?
Steeda is good you can also go with the Ford performance. You can’t go wrong either way.

Swaybar brand doesn't matter (BMR, steeda, eibach are all 35mm diameter). If I could recommend a setup, I'd recommend a GT350R rear bar with a BMR front bar. Steeda front bar is almost the same, but sometimes someone posts about fit issues with the steeda front bar (95% of people seem ok).

I like the GT350R rear bar because its not too stiff and a lot of the aftermarket rear bars (even on the softest settings) seem too stiff for my tastes.

Thank you very much for the suggestion, I will follow it and order tomorrow.

I see other recommendations, I have a GT vert Premium that I track and plus nice rides. I have the Steeda sways in my hands, putting the rear in myself. they look very well made plus USA made. If you don't track your Mustang probably don't need camber plates, springs etc. fyi the Steeda are adjustable, they have three holes at the connection points for comfort, stiffer, track stiff settings.

Thanks for the info! I was doing springs to take some of the roll out of the car but have decided to do the sways instead. The car looks low enough to keep me happy and I am more concerned with drive quality before a small appearance item like that. So now I can return the camber plates and the bump steer kit and springs. So I’ll save a bunch on top of it all. Win, win!

Hey all. I hope everyone is doing well. I have a question. I just recently ordered multiple parts from Steeda. I ordered the Stop the Hop Kit, the two stage lowering springs for Magnaride, bump steer kit, camber plates, sway bar links and a few other things. So my question is that I just installed my new wheels and tires today. I went with 20’s, a 10 in the front and 11 in the rear. I am running 275-35/20 in the front and 305/35/20 in the rear. The rear tires are 1 inch taller than stock. So now the car looks like it has been lowered a bit. Do you think I should still install the springs which will drop it 1/2-3/4 inches. Also, if I don’t lower it, which was a little for the looks but mostly for the handling. Car has a little too much body roll when really moving, so I was hoping the springs would stiffen it up a bit. Now, if I don’t lower it the body roll will not be reduced by the other parts I ordered. So what are people’s thoughts on upgrading the sway bars instead, number 1, number 2, if not lowering is there any reason I should install the caster/camber plates or the bump steer kit? Please take a look and let me know your thoughts, please on if it would appear too low with the taller tires or if you think it would still look good. If I don’t use them I can return the springs, camber plates and bump steer kit, get the sway bars and still get some cash back.

Again, this is a little for appearance but mostly for the ride to be stiffened up. I do have Magnaride on the car as well.

Thanks in advance.

Ok this has been an interesting read, seems like about an even split on leave it is alone and just do it....I just did it, all of it....Steeda stuff, lowering kit, camber plates, bump steer kit, stop the hop kit, sway bars & end links, short throw shifter, transmission mount "stuffer " , heavy duty motor mounts, X pipe and topped off with a tune....Now my 19 Bullitt works the way I want it to, so the bottom line is DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!

The car looks badness and corners like the stripe on the street, nuff said.

Looks fantastic! Which springs did you go with, looks like it is lowered a fair amount unless you have taller tires in the rear like I do. What size are they? Man that looks so good!

So my car is actually a Steeda Mach 1 with all the suspension parts you listed and then some more. When I drove it the other day it handled great. No NVH and every part works in concert with each other. Here are pictures of the look. My wheels are 20 inch Velgen VF5's on PS4s.

I saw your car and asked Steeda but was never told, what size rear tires and which springs. I also have 35 series tires so I was concerned about any issues with lowering it since the 35 series tires, in my case is 28 inches tall and on yours they are 28.7, so I can see they fit. I just wanted to confirm the tire size to make sure they didn’t post it wrong. But if they are correct and you uses the two stage springs made for Magnaride, I know my car will look perfect. So can you let me know? Your car looks absolutely amazing and it is bad a$$!! It must be amazing to drive now!

I am attaching the bill of materials of my car for you. It is not all inclusive of what was done, but it is 95% what Steeda did to the car.

With respect to my tires, I have 35/315s PS4s in the rear and 35/275s PS4s in the front. I have the dual rate springs and other components on the car. The bill of materials will help you get an idea of what you can do. Good luck to you.
