I just installed the MGW shifter and GT 350 owners lets hope they make a version for you. Wow just wow, its shifts so well now and the construction and materials, are well done. If your thinking about getting one just do it.1st to 2nd feels good and the push reverse lockout is easy to get use to.

Great job MGW, best shifter I ever used

BARtonindustries I've had my Barton shifter in about a three weeks now and WOW big difference compared to my stock setup. It feels more accurate, the throws are definitely shorter, and its just a better overall shifting experience.

I tried it without the bracket first and I'm very impressed. I think I will add the bracket now. Great job!

Thanks MGW

Ok I have been using the MGW shifter now for about 8 weeks and its just wonderful. The shifts feels nice and stiff not sloppy like the stock shifter. The quality is stronger it feels like a race ready shifter not a toy. The reverse lockout is nice you really have to push down to get into reverse, perfect design. I was worried about the install because it looked hard but the video make it a breeze, for the v8 owners you might have to remove the cross member to get the stock shifter out. Took about 3 days to get use the feel, as I said before I hope the GT 350 owners get to have a shifter as robust as this one. The only sad part was installing the shifter because it looked so dam good but that's ok, it shifts as good as it looks.

I think he meant height-wise, not throw-wise. There may be a 25% reduction in the throw length but it definitely looks more than 25% shorter than the stock shifter.
FWIW, I had the same concern before installing mine (which I did yesterday). But, after driving it a bit I think the height it perfect. Not only does it shorten the throw, but it puts the knob at a very comfortable height. For the price it was a very worthwhile mod. I also have an Energy Suspension shifter bushing that I didn't get around to installing. But, I think between the two pieces I'll have a nice budget friendly solution.

Does the MGW come with a new reverse collar? That's the only thing I don't like about the Barton is that they reused the stock collar and mine broke. They are working on a new one.

its an option when you order to get a collar that will accept the OEM shift knob or if you get MGWs knobs it comes with a jam nut
