What makes you think it is legit ? If that's a download of Helm's manual, you have to be really naive it is unless you believe it because it is convenient for you.

But given this thread started with "is is available for free", I'm not surprised...

Where can I pick one up with any and all supplementary manuals?

Just ordered mine through Helm. Its been a busy week.

I can't wait to kick back with a beer and learn about this car.

Funny thing about the order is that it charged me tax and I'm in Canada.

Just purchased a copy of the Helm Inc. manual for $200 USD (I'm in Canada too ). No request for a VIN at point-of-sale either

I remember when I used to smoke and used to open a new pack of smokes and someone would ask me if I had an extra cigarette. I would say to them no, my pack didn't come with an extra cigarette. As a matter of fact, I've never had a pack that came with an extra smoke but you can buy a pack from the store behind me.

Just an experience I thought I'd share with you.

Just got mine. For Canadians, this is outsourced to a company in Mississauga and shipped Canada Post. The tracking info Helm sends you won't work.

I can't wait to get started.

I've got the service manual from Helm. I made an ISO file and mounted as it's own drive so I won't have to carry the CD. My laptop doesn't even have a cd player. They need to send these as flash drives.

for $21 and 72 hours access I was able to down load and save every thing as a pdf. You also can view other ford models with in the 72 hours. If you go this route set up your save to location with folders pertaining to the sections . That will speed things up. Chrome has a print to PDF feature. The wiring section uses a flash program that I had to use Explorer on with the help of a print to PDF program that was loaded on my PC from a tax program. One thing to consider the DVD may have read issues in a few years with what ever OS. PDFs will be around for a while.

It has everything as it is subscription base service not only for a hobbyist but for automotive repair business with long tern subscriptions. It not only has the work shop and wiring ,it has up to date TSP and SYNC info. It is not in a native PDF but a web view. To save a page one prints to a "PDF" and saves it.

So you have to save each page separately? Damn, what is there like 500 pages or more?

Heres an example the Module Communications Network has 7 sections that one would save as a "print" to PDF each of the 7. Section 3 out of the 7 has 155 pages , out of this section all 155 pages will print with one click save to PDF. In this example there are only 7 save files but hundreds of pages with in the 7.

The other advantage over the DVD is this can easily be placed on a tablet once in PDF

I noticed the system allows more than one log in. I'll leave to the team to figure out how that that would make it self useful.
