looks great. I have heard that metal shift knobs get hot, especially in the summer. Let us know how you fair as the temperature rises.

All the best.

I have seen others change their collar... What does changing it do for you?

I've had metal shift knobs in previous cars and never had issues with the knob getting too hot in the summer time.

As Mrzero said...mostly looks...but also having the new collar will eliminate the possibility of the stock piece breaking, which could prevent you from using reverse.

BTW...the titanium knob looks very nice
