I have them mounted but no spacers. Have not heard of spacers and don't know how they would alter the clearence. They are a close fit but so far have not had any issues. Space between caliper and barrel is half the thickness of the wheel weights.. Very happy with the finish on them and the raw look is different. I get a lot of positive remarks on the look of them.

Do the OEM lug nuts fit work on the CS21's or do you need to buy additional lug nuts to fit these wheels?

Would love it if they made them in a 20"

How is the offset? Do they sit flush like most custom wheels and not tucked in like stock wheels?

Hello,

I am very close to buying a set of the raw aluminum CS21 wheels for my 2017 but wanted to see if anyone can provide some feedback based on their experiences with them. Specifically can you tell me about quality of finish and fit? I read there is very little caliper clearance and some people use spacers . Is that the case or is the fit fine?

Thanks very much
Well I ordered them from CJ Pony Parts tonight along with the lug nuts. I assume these things get torqued to 150 pounds as well?

yeah I'm definitely leaning towards 20s myself... so will probably have to pass on the set.

OEM lug nuts will not work. I went with the gorilla lug nuts in chrome. Torqued them to 150

Just my humble $0.02...but since this thread is intentionally asking for opinions....

I suggest anyone find pictures of these wheels mounted before purchasing and make sure it's the look you like. I personally think they sit waaaay too far inboard. The offset is noticeably different from the stock wheel, and even worse if you are a fan of R specs.

The tinted look is perfect on your silver color combo. I am still waffling over silver vs tinted. I like the contrast of silver with the white stipes similar to Sox3's set up.

The offsets and sizes are the same as the non-R factory wheels. They are bit lighter than the stock wheels. I've been using them for my autox/track tires all season and I like them.

I like the color of your wheels! Damn I just purchased some used wheels over the weekend!

Wow. I stand corrected, sir.

Might be the tire/wheel combo, tire size, or might be the angle of the photo, but this visual does not appear to be the case on the pics I've seen. Or maybe it's just me.
