What is the difference between the R cover and the base GT350 cover? I have a R cover that I might want to sell. Its opened but never used. I might want to get something softer to put on the car. The material of it makes me nervous.

The R cover has a little extra slack for the larger rear wing and front splitter. I think you could manage to get either cover to fit either car, though.

PS - the material is a little rough and it does pose a rick of scratching if the car isn't 100% clean. I only cover it after a wash before any prolonged storage (more than a few days) so the factory cover is fine. If I covered it more often, I'd use something plush...especially in the garage.

I'll let you know if I decide to part ways with it. I want one like I had for my 99 RT/10 Viper and 2012 Boss. Both were very soft to the touch, especially the viper cover. It was made of some type of fabric. I believe the boss one was also a similar material. This one for the 350R feels like it should be used to make a tent. It feels hard and scratchy to the touch.

I've got a covercraft noah cover that is exactly what you describe. I keep my cars in the garage and I don't need that kind of overkill. If you are interested in a swap, let me know. I've used it on my 350R and it fits just fine.

Seems to be made of solid material. I've requested samples of their different models of car covers to see what would work best. I like the fact you can design your own cover.

I couldn't get my non-R factory Ford cover to fit my car once I added the R splitter and wing(C2C). I was never a big fan of the "scratchy" style cover that Ford carried anyway and got a custom Covercraft. Night and day difference.
