Shelby Brake Reservoir Cover

Hi all.
I received my cover today and I was pretty disappointed with the finish quality. I guess I should have looked at the website pictures a little closer (they show the same flaws). Just wondering if they are all like this?

I suppose you could get it powder coated or painted. Or at least use some polish on the edges of the beads. Most of them look ok, the corner one is slightly cobbly.

Powder, will fill in the Shelby, buffing unless clear coated will be an ongoing chore to keep the finish.

Most likely has a clear coat now, and to polish would mean the removal of same.

The part is hand TIG welded, not machined welded. The stack of dimes as it's called, is a bit large.

Just and FYI went in the other direction, not liking the reservoir.

Chose to hide it with a CF cover, It dresses it up and makes it less prominent, blends.

I am definitely disappointed in the quality but if this is how all of them turn out due to the manufacturing process I don’t want to waste my time. I’d rather refinish it or return it.
