Went for a good one yesterday: Out to Borrego Springs: CA 79 to S2 to S22 (Montezuma Road) to Borrego Springs. Then out to the Salton Sea, up CA 86 to the 111 to Palm Desert. Up the 74 and back home. Here are pics from Anza Borrego and the lookout over the Coachella Valley.

After six months of emails and phone calls, I managed to find out from VMP exactly what equipment was on my '16 when I bought it. Also found out that the dealer had wiped VMP's tune and put a stock Ford tune on it. VMP came through with an email tune on Friday.

Now even a small trip to the grocery story is a total JOY! I liked driving the car with a wrong tune. Now I love it.

Played with a Chevy pickup that wanted to stay on my bumper. He had to punch it on the straightaways to catch up, and over all did a decent job. He got a thumbs up from me when we parted in the next town.
