I have searched all the forums, I am wanting to know, what modifications need to be made to the idatalink harness f03 to go straight to aftermarket amp? Will that power my aftermarket speakers? Thanks in advance.

Look in to a pac unit. You can interface an amp setup. Just did this on my 22/450 with b&o. Little tedious to setup but works very well. I used a dsp setup but don’t think it was necessary. Just didn’t want to take it all back apart to add it if it needed it.

I have the PAC amp pro fd21.. but after reading some post, saw that the PAC isn't compatible to non b&0 systems.. I hope I am wrong, cause I bought 3rd party. If it does work, what needs to be done. Other than the installation.

So non b&o, with Sync 3. That correct? Big screen, with navigation basically. If that’s the case there‘s another route you can take then the pac. Here’s a photo of what can be used for that. Basically a harness to line out put. Lets you hook up an amp. If you stay with a 3-way setup in the front, most have adjustments on the x-overs for the mid/tweet, you won’t need a dsp. This harness/setup was for a 17 F250 sync 3/nav, non b&0. Used a few of these in the same trucks, worked well. Only trick is in some case’s you need to get in to forscan to adjust for the factory bass roll off at 3/4 volume.

As for my 350, it’s a 20 Heritage R, so it’s all original from the factory like that.

Okay thanks for quick response. I will attempt wiring rcas on the harness idatalink, I found a diagram that helps.. I currently have lc2i pro. For my sub. Alpinde PDX v9 for the front stage. 2 way midrange and focal coaxial 165. Alpine accepts line level. I should be fine with RCA adapter on the harness to amp ? The head unit puts out line level correct?
And yes all the information about the car is correct. 9 speaker etc.

No mods it's a direct plug and play on 9 speaker cars. Just connect the map harness to the FRN per the wiring diag on the sticky, omitting the power and ground which is done from battery and local amp site.
