So day two of 18 Mustang 5.0 PP ownership. Cranked it up this morning to a warning on the dash saying ""Service Tire Mobility Kit". I pulled the kit out of the trunk, its still in the factory bag, then put it back. Any thoughts how to make the warning go away or what the issue might be?

I believe you can reset that warning in the settings somewhere.

Mine just popped up with this warning, 1600 miles, had it for about 2 months. Very strange since the settings say it's set for 4 years.

^Right. Not an uncommon thing. Mine showed-up after I R&R'd the battery cable (two week old car). Just reselect 4year and it will go bye-bye.

I put the Equus 19" spare on my 2018 PP1 car, BUT it has to be bored out to 70.66mm/2.782" to fit the Mustang hub. It clears the Brembo brakes in the front too! I got the spare on eBay for $175.00.

Every 2-3 months I have to reset mine for some reason. I Just go to settings and change it to 2 or 3 years I believe.

What model years are good for the Equus 19" spare?

Never mind I just found it is a 2013 model year.

How did you bore it out? I have one and used it this weekend but noticed that it needed to be enlarged a bit to slip over the center hub. Wondering how to go about this. I have been unable to locate a step drill bit large enough.

Use a die grinder with a carbide cutter and just go around the inside of the hub hole until it fits. It won't take much. A drill will work too but it has a much slower RPM. Die grinders are 10,000 RPM. It doesn't have to be perfect at the center of the hub, it won't effect the balance because the lug nuts will take care of allignement. A half round course file will do the same thing but it will take a while.
