I've just had my 3 year service at Ford last week which i paid for via monthly DD @ £22 per month for 10 months. Pretty good value i think as they guarantee to not charge you any more if the service price has increased since you signed up to the plan - I think it should have been around £250 as opposed to the £220 i've paid.

Anyway... i've had the inevitable call from Ford today offering me the year 4 plan for £42 per month for 10 months, so £420 total vs £525 for the actual service price.

My question is... are you guys servicing anywhere else other than Ford when you get to this age? A £500+ service seems a bit rich considering i'll have only done another 2-3k miles probably.

Get mine done at a decent local garage. Cheaper than main dealer and not had any issues so far. Cars on a 17 plate, so out of warranty.

I just do it myself. The Mustang is super easy to work on.

Yeah i usually do all my own work on my cars, but feel the need to ensure it's got a proper service history given its value.
My service history is my instagram 😂😂😂

Maybe you’ve had a pleasant experience at your Ford dealer, but mine has been woeful, so the car will not go back to them.
A local performance car specialist now looks after it to keep the service history stamped.
You also get to discuss your needs with them, use aftermarket parts without a load of grief and jobs actually get done properly without secondary damage, rather than the bullsh*t offered from my Ford dealer
