Here is some information I got from Ford Performance:

The were a few oil related notices:

16S40 oil cooler recall

17B04 oil filter program

SSM 47364 oil leak around filter/cooler

TSB 18-2159 oil leak filter area

Dealers do have oil consumption test procedures to administer if issues are suspected. We recommend GT350 owners and Coyote owners check oil regularly. Both engines utilize low-tension rings and oil consumption can be an issue in hard driving/track usage. We recommend air/oil separators in those applications.

Also if you are going to modify a 5.0 or a 5.2 it might be a good idea to upgrade to the following billet oil pump gears from Ford
Gears only - M-6600-M50A
Pump with Gears - M-6600-M52

Just a bump, here’s the actual Ford SSM 47364 for exact wording and reference:

Is this something you mention to the service guys any time or only when you’re having problems? Thanks for the information

It depends. Some service writers don’t mind it, but others can be snotty and think it’s not your business to tell them what to write. Mine is good and she worked with me on my new engine.
