Not sure about the dealers you are checking with. Here in the Denver area it's easy to get into the Ford dealership. Two within 20 minutes of my house. But these dealer sell a good number of Shelbys so maybe that supports the technicians. Not sure.
Maybe it's a pain but worth checking with dealers as you move your search area out. I checked around here asking if they had mechanics checked out on Shelbys. I also always let them know I will wait for senior a mechanic that has experience on performance Ford's. That may sound obvious but before I started doing that the service advisor wanted to assign my Shelby to a tech that was changing tires. I went to the Service manager and asked him to assign an experience person. Now I only deal with the service advisor the service manager selected for me. He knows only to assign an experience mechanic.
Same here. Not on all work, but our transmission and diesel work are booked out that long. My Raptor has been on the rack for a week now getting the transmission repaired.
