So after some spirited driving my car threw a service adcancedtrac code. Now my abs, air bag traction control and hill start are all disabled. I saw a few posts on this forum but none of them helped in showing where to look and what components could cause this. I'd rather not take it to a shop and fix it myself. Tried shutting the car off and on a few times but code still appears. Any tips?

I used to have this issue with my 15' GT when hammering on it, when back to normal with key off/on but I did have to pull my battery once to get it to reset. Worth a try?

Yea lll try pulling the negative off. I was messing with it today and then all of a sudden when I was backing up it went off again.

Make sure the traction control connector/plug jumper next to left side of air box is in place and securely connected. If its loose or not making a good connection it will disable the advance trac and all the nannies, It's the plug they disconnect when doing dyno pulls to disable the traction control due to no front wheel rotation is being seen by the ABS when on dyno.

This is the harness/connector being referenced in the above thread. Check the harness at the air box which may also be an issue if it has become disconnected... pictured in THIS thread:

---

Check all fuses in passenger side fuse box behind kick panel AND the under hood engine fuse/relay box for any blown or loose fuses/relays.

---
Seeing you have a 2017, most likely this is your issue.... for 2015-2017's the common issues with advance trac/abs/steering warning light weirdness, check the rear axle thrust washer, see here:

Have you replaced the drivers side in the past? I've heard it usually fails first so I'm surprised yours was on the passenger side if it was the first to go.

Ok so I got codes pulled finally and it has codes for the left rear wheel speed sensor and tone ring as well as the steering position sensor. I replaced the wheel speed sensor think the hub is the best bet then?

So I had this happen to me and watched tons of videos and got the idea of screwing with my e-brake. Lifted it up and down a few times and all the sudden the light reset itself. Not sure what the issue was, but it hasn’t been on since lol
