I put a set of wheel spacers on my 2020 mustang 2 weeks ago, felt nervous with them on, so i decided to take them off. Took the driver side front off but now i cant get any of the other bolts loose and in the process i think i stripped some of them. How do i get these off now.

Have you tried a 13/16 socket on them? I’ve heard of some people using a 21mm and damaging the lug nuts.

bolt on or slip-on? You can't get which set of nuts off?
Worst case you'll have to cut the spacer off and the nuts holding it on. (I'm assuming bolt on variety).

The next time you try this you'll want to buy longer studs and slip-on spacers. And quality lug nuts.

I can't get the wheel spacer nuts off. Thinking about using a heat gun and a bolt extractor

don't pussy foot around with a heat gun, break out the MAP torch. But I suspect you're gonna need to cut the nuts off. Got some cutting disks handy?

Don't have access to a torch, and not handy enough to use cutting disk without damaging other parts.

Can you post some good pics of the damaged lug nuts? Maybe that’ll help members to be able to give some good recommendations as to a way around this issue.

Well i was able to get the 2 nuts off. Had to wait to receive a set of nut extractors from Amazon, and after some hammering and a lot of muscle i was able to get them loosened. I didnt even need the torch. ( I realize how ridiculous this post sounds after proof reading, but im sure you get the point lol)

Glad you emerged from the woods on this. It’s no fun at all to be in a situation like that. Are you deleting the spacers or did you have to buy new ones with longer studs?

I think we need a drawing to appreciate the full impact.

No more spacers for me. Never again. Rather spend the money on new wheels.
