I would bid a little more than the market price. Judging by the various sites I looked at like Priceva, 65k is an excellent price to start with. It’s not a fact that someone will buy it for exactly that much, but you can start at this price. Given your car's pristine condition, low mileage, and extras like the full ceramic coating and EXPEL PPF.

I am getting some enquiries from some local dealers asking me to sell my Mach1 for cash. Instant cash offer for $63k (CAD). MSRP was 80K which I got back in 2022. So in about 1.5 yrs they offering me 21% less. In market place my model (HP) is going around 70k-75k (non premium). So 6%-12.5% less. Of course I am not in the market to sell mine.

Don't take this the wrong way, but how was your MSRP 80k?

Also just because they are listed at 70-75k on Marketplace doesn't mean that's what they are selling for. Those figures are grossly inflated, HP or not.

I had a total replacement on my right knee 8 years ago. I'm 57 now and to this day my right leg feels like it did when I was 25. My health ins requires I start with cortisone shots, then step up to the gel shots before they will approve the surgery, so I'm about to make the appointments for the gel shots on my left knee. It's starting to get to the point my right one was at back in 16.

Anyway I used to have a 17 GT vert with the MT 82, loved the car but an opportunity came up to get a Mach 1. I know I can get a knee replacement on my left knee, but with my ins it will be 1.5 to 2 years out at minimum and my left knee doesn't like me driving a manual anymore, so I opted for an A10 mach 1. Also I live about 45 minutes away from Summit motorsports park, an NHRA sanctioned dragstrip and I would like to try drag racing the M1 and an A10 is better suited for the strip than a manual is.

I’d look at both private party and dealer trade. If you get a sales tax benefit for trade in, make sure you factor that in as well.

I don't see a build thread (maybe not much done?) but start a M6G Marketplace thread and if you're adventursome 'carsandbids.com'. And the obligatory cars.com and cargurus.com

Take like 30+ pics so you have them handy for the listing.

But if you're REAL hard up, you should be able to get "50 bucks" for it in Philladelphia.

Yeah, no benefit here in SC. You pay $500 bucks when you buy, then they hit you with a tax bill later.

I will check them out. What about KBB and Bring a Trailer? Anyone try those? KBB charges $50 bucks to list.

Thanks for the kind words Mark. Yes, the thought of selling this car is not easy but my knee is really causing issues with enjoying the car, and I do not like seeing it sit in the garage.

Like you I have found plenty of non-HP cars for sale in the 40s-low 50s, and HP cars with higher mileage than mine for high 50s- low 60s.

Thanks again
Really surprised loosing that weight didnt get you back on track. I say get knee fixed before you end up driving a rascal loaded into a hadicap van.
I just got done cleaning my car up one last time before surgury. Getting right shoulder replaced wednesday. Plan on shifting car in march.
