Hello Everyone,

Im thinking about selling my Mach, and want some serious thoughts as to what I should ask for it. Yes, I have checked KBB for a starting range. After checking various sites the price range for cars equivalent to mine range from 58-66K (crazy asking price).

Here is the details on my car:
  • 2022 M1, 6-Speed, HP, Elite Package, 700A Heated/Cooled Seats-2343 Miles
  • Garage Stored, with factory cover
  • Bemaro overlays in engine bay
  • Redline Extreme hood struts
  • Full Ceramic coating inside, outside, wheels, brakes, and glass
  • EXPEL PPF on the complete front, leading edge of roof, mirror caps
  • Ceramic window tint, legal for NC. Clear ceramic tint on windshield
  • Continental ESC-2 tires. 305/30/19 front, 325/30/19 rear
  • Oil change performed last month with Blackstone Report
  • Never raced or tracked
  • No mods, other than cosmetic mods, no tunes
  • Includes factory window sticker, owners kit, and all information from where I purchased it new
  • Ford is coming to my house today to update the Brake module recall, all S550 owners received
  • No dents, dings, scratches, on the body.
  • The paint and interior are perfect
  • Includes factory car cover
Thanks
WTH is wrong with you? LOL. Go take a regular regimen of a super joint supplement and GFN enjoy your car. You’ll only regret selling it and I’m saving you the trouble. It won’t be fun and you won’t find another one. I’m actually looking out for you. Be brave, getting old sucks. I refuse to let it take my car away.

re the Black Book saying -1200 for not being auto, is that based on sales data for this specific car or aggregate data? I would think that as long as you are not in a rush, i.e. don't need to sell it to a dealer, that a manual transmission would be a plus. Best of luck. Maybe get on the gear (hydrocortisone shots) 😁 until you sell it.

LOL….@ the -$1200 for the manual. That about destroys all their credibility for me. Maybe on a Toyota Corolla.

Agreed. Based on my own experience, 6 speeds are few and far between. I'd think that would be a plus to the right buyer. Especially on an HP car.

Damn! I thought you were looking to add an 69 or 70 mach1. Gets some physical therapy! Do you need a knee replacement?

This is the easiest stang I have driven with a clutch next to my C7 GS. I think with some type of PT you should be good to go.šŸ˜€

check with the Doc and see what he says!

DON'T DO IT!!! I think you will regret it.

Funny thing my knee was starting to bother me a while back and I was like maybe I should buy a C8. Hell no! I bought this car for a reason. BTW that pain comes and goes so I have learned to deal with it.

I did look at trading for HEP gt350 but the trade was deal breaker. Offered 42k with 8k miles with same pkg, etc. Really! I think our cars are under valued due to the DH.
Good luck on your decision and i hope your knee gets better soon!!!

Keep us posted!

Thank you Stephen,
I have been on a serious weight loss regimen to help my knees and down 50 pounds so far. You are right the pain is temporary and the car is a blast. I do have an appointment soon, and that will help with the decision.

I agree with our cars being under valued, but I’m bias as well. My main problem is not having enough garage space for all the cars I want to own…. lol.
I will keep you guys posted.

Private party less than 60, but mid50s is likely. Trade in will probably be brutal. Maybe as high as 50.

Paid 57 on a 23 with 1200 miles last week. Non-hp. Had ppf and ceramic, HRE wheels and the Steeda catalog thrown at it.

5 days prior a 22 HP with 4000 miles in green went for 56 if I remember correct.

Both cars DC region.

I would look for one of those knee wraps to stabilize the joint and ease the stress. Or learn to no clutch shift like the truckers do.

I position my seat so I need to point my toes a bit to achieve full clutch travel. But it also depends where the bite point is. One M1 had a very high point and that was a bit unpleasant to drive, just on principle.

Good luck with the sale. I bought my mach with the 6 spd even though my doctor said not to. Lol. I'm up for a knee replacement. But the pain is worth pleasure. Take care of your knees young people you'll miss them when there gone. Also any 6 spd these days are worth more to me. Just bought an Audi A4 sport with a 6 spd just because it was stick.
I resold It in a day. Again because it was a 6spd. Your beautiful car will sell in the spring . No problem.

Like I said before I cannot thank all of you for the kind words regarding my car ad the advice given, along with forum name changes....lol.

At his point, I'm going to hit the knee brace for driving and ice afterwards, so I can row gears until the pain is unmanageable., and I have to make a life decision.

My ultimate goal is to be like @IanKar and have both cars in the stable. Thanks again guys!!
