I agree there is no performance gain, but I have to admit I like the sound. Just a personal preference thing.

I have the Trackey on my 2014 Mustang GT. I like it alot. Throttle tip in is much better and so is the engine braking. I also LOVE the lopey idle. loved it on my Boss302 as well. If that makes me FAKE or a RICER.... so be it.

agreed, it's a 435hp V8, shouldn't it be allowed to sound the part?

Yeah I think the lopey idle sounds good, nothing wrong or fake about that.

I'm pretty sure that all they do to get the lope is run more overlap by shifting the phasing between the intake and exhaust cams.

I suspect it costs a little power at very low rpms, not that that is likely to matter much except if/when you're stuck in traffic creeping along at idle in 1st gear.

That's pretty much it, just tuned for overlap. Doesn't cost any power as it is only active at idle. As soon as the throttle is opened the tune reverts back to normal.

Also it's funny hearing people say they are going to actually put cams in to get a real lopey idle. They don't understand it makes no difference. You can put the biggest and most aggressive cams on the market in your Coyote and still tune it to idle like stock. If you want the lopey idle with your big nasty cams you need to tune it to lope, thus it's still a fake lopey idle.
