I'll be out there in a couple weekends. First time out with the Mach 1. Looking forward to seeing what she can do. Looks like you ran somewhere around a 2:40 in your video. How much time do you think had left in her. I was targeting a 2:30 for a first weekend in the car. But we shall see!

Yes, that was a 2:40 lap, I was running my street/rain tires, 265:285/35 19 PS4S tires and taking it a bit easy in the turns to keep the pressures (temps) down. Maybe a 2:35 but not for a 25 minute session. If it’s not rainy on 30JAN, I’ll be back out there with cup2 tires. Car 73, look me up if you’re there that day.

Curious what did you use to record your track day with? Gopro? dashcam? phone?

I use Harry’s LapTimer when I’m out...able to connect to your phone / gopro for video, and a OBDII dongle for data. Here is an old video…one of my first times on a track and still learnin.

Nice! I got a mount for mine for the passenger headrest attaches to the metal rod. Making my first track event this spring, too cold here now.

I have one more question, looks like you're alone on the track there but I would guess not. Is the crowd sparse in the winter down there?

No, the Chin event was sold out, we just put ourselves at the back of the queue for that session. Lots of cars seemed to be from out of state, PCA has their biggest event of the year in early FEB. Lots of GT3 RS’s.

I ran in track mode for all of the sessions on track, transmission shifting was really good, always in the correct gear exiting a corner.

Nice. I got a track day in may at New Jersey Motorsports park.I was on the fence about the 10r80 .I kept going back and forth about getting a 6sp or 10sp for a week before ordering my car.Thanks for your Opinion
