Here is a brief over view of track attack day 1. I'll post up the second day after tomorrow. Pardon any Grammer errors as this is being posted from a phone.
I arrived at 5.20 ahead of the 5.30 they tell you to arrive at. You meet in the lobby at Charlotte motor speedway before 5.45 when they take you to the speedway club. When I arrived almost everyone was already there despite the email saying not to arrive until 5.30. You are then checked into a small side table where you sign a waiver, list your t shirt size, and pick what you want for dinner. The three given options: a plain sauce pasta with mushrooms, tomatoes, and basil, a chicken breast with mashed potatoes and veggies, or a steal with mashed potatoes and veggies. I was only offered the first two choices so I'm assuming the steak was "sold out" so I'd recommend arriving early. Upon doing so you are given a wrist band. Mine (driver) was gold and my fiance (non-driver) was white. They say you must keep the bracelet on overnight as you'll need it the next day and also following day 2 there will be more goodies given to each car owner. There were 18 people in total at this class.
At 5.45 you go up an elevator to the speedway clubs floor and are lead to a small conference room. You are seated, everyone introduces themselves, and then are shown a very very brief overview of how the ford performance school was created and a very brief overview of the mach 1 history. The end slides show the intinerary for day 2 along with a questions slide. After this you are lead across the hall the restaurant. We were sitted at two tables against the upper viewing windows of the raceway. The tables are perpendicular to the windows so the first 4 seats at the tables can view the track so I'd recommend racing to get these seats. The day we went (a Tuesday) there was racing practicing happening on the track (until the rain shut it down). Each place setting had a sort of chocolate Bundt cake and an arugula salad, the main meals were brought up later. They said you can sit and stay as long as you'd like at the table however as the racing practice was canceled we left shortly after everything was eaten (around 7pm).
The presentation said day 2 contains arriving at 7.30. Getting fitted to helmets and flame suits. Then schooling until 9 (I think it's 9) then you go on a cone course, accelerate/decelerate practice, and a skid car all at the z max drag way. Then lunch happens at 12 and the rest of the day until 5 is racing laps at Charlotte motor speedway with the occasional break to switch out drivers. Mach 1 owners drive the majority of the time until closer to 5 when you are passenger and the instructor takes you for a few laps.
The non-driver guest pass only gets them riding time after lunch from what I gather but they follow the group around.
I'll update with what happens after day 2.
