i didnt like starting a day at less than 60% to keep some of the heat out of the calipers. Hawk, G-Loc, maybe some others. Sebring can be tough on brakes.
It’s kind of track depedent, tracks with longer straights require lots of energy to be dissipated in the brakes. I got tired of messing with the factory stuff like replacing front pads every track day, cracked DBA rotors, inconsistent braking and installed the AP Racing kits front and rear...
If I were you, I would do some research on the Wilwood site to insure the components are compatible with your setup prior to ordering anything. They make the parking brake caliper in different widths. The link I provided is for the complete Wilwood rear brake setup for comparison and diagrams.
Be brave or go home! One thing that gave me confidence when I did my setup was the AP Racing caliper bracket mounted to the outside of the spindle and I could mount the Wilwood parking brake bracket to the inside of the spindle with modifications. No mods to the AP Racing bracket.
You will have to check the specs on the Wilwood parking brakes to see if one of the ones they offer will fit your rotor. I got the bolts and nuts from Ace hardware. The hard part is modifying the Wilwood brackets to get the parking brake lined up to rotor correctly, you will need to make some...
Jusr from my personal experience, traction control almost put me in the wall coming out of turn 7 at Sebring when I was first getting use to the car on track, I’ve had it off ever since. For me, it’s better to find the limit without the nanny surprises.
PS4S tires are fine when you’re starting out, as said, more camber in the front helps, 30-31psi cold, when they warm up to 33psi you can lean on them, they start getting a bit slippery above 37-39psi, drive accordingly and monitor the pressures. Turn traction control off or you can cook the rear...
These are CSM Performance 1000lb stands I got back in 2019 with a free laser thrust alignment kit. I don’t believe these are still available from them. I originally got them for my Cayman but they have worked ok for the Mustang as well. I do keep floor jacks under the four corners at all times...
Im running 19x11 et26 up front so no need for extending the wheel studs. 19x11.5 et56 in the rear. Wrapped with Goodyear Supercar 3R 305/325 30R19 tires, nice wheel/tire set for the track.
