Hey guys just wanted to share this little mod with everyone.
I was trying to figure out an alternative to the leather button-clip seatbelt Guides we have on our cars, cause mine was starting to rip. I came across this thread, but the parts were $150 plus shipping from Australia for a couple pieces of plastic!
Anyways, I looked into it deeper, and found that the $150 seatbelt guides looked identical to the Chevy Cobalt seatbelt guides, so I ordered a new driver's side Cobalt guide for $15 off eBay. It came in and the holes were off, and too narrow, so I drilled out the oblong hole to 1/2", and drilled out an additional 1/2" hole to line up with the mustang's headrest rods - a silver sharpie really helps here.
That did the trick, and I think it turned out pretty good! Take a look for yourself :}.
