My factory leather strap has ripped my seat where its stitched in and this is so much more comfortable to grab and at a better height for no neck irritation.
Factory strap caused damage and Ford replaced my seat cover. They said this was becoming a common issue.

These look good, will probably try these. Standard loop is wearing a lot, belt buckle seems to come through the loop a fair bit.

Clearly the new model has learned from this, they have plastic moulded ones.

New 2018 mustang has the same leather strap. Only Recaro's and convertibles have plastic moulded seat belt guides which still don't work very well.

Quick question for you, do these appear to have any extra holes drilled into them? They look identical to the Chevy Cobalt guides, but the cobalt's holes don't line up, so I'm wondering if that's what these are. I'm trying to source these from a US seller as my leather is ripping too. Thanks!

So I bought a cobalt driver's side guide. The holes didn't line up but nothing a 1/2 drill bit couldn't fix. Had to bore out the existing oblong hole, and drill a new one on the other side after tracing where the other headrest rod would be. Turned out pretty good IMO, and the part only cost me $15!

Has anyone else tried this? Looks like an answer to my prayers. The non-adjustable height seat belt has always plagued me in this car, cuts across my neck, annoying and uncomfortable on long trips.

Expensive for some plastic with a hole drilled in it but it does work well

I don't think $12-15 is expensive, the real problem is the dealers here can't order them anymore. Gonna be checking some junkyards for Cobalts.

I was referring to the ones available via MyStangMods which definitely aren't that cheap!! Wish i'd realised sooner.

Hi Robbo. Where did you get these. I checked ebay and by the time you add postage, US conversion rate and possibly customs they might come close to the $149 asking price in Melbourne. Do you have photos of how they look?

Bought mine from gmpartsamerica on e-bay , currently this one on e-bay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-GM-Guide-P-Seat-Shldr-Belt-Ebony-10386174-/254421749249#shpCntId I sent them a request for both as a package deal including a shipping discount, was all up around US$45.00 for the pair. There is more info, pics and a video on this thread - https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/seatbelt-guides.115173/page-2 Cheers. You may want to search US wreckers as it is a multi vehicle fit.

If anyone is interested, I have a brand new set of seatbelt guides, the Australian (Mustang Mods) version, perfect fit, which retail for $149 plus postage. I’ll set these for $110 incl postage within Aust.
