SCTx4 Updater Issue/No Device Recognized

Yea. I did that twice. Should I let it look for the driver itself or can I brows and look for it someplace.

Computer. I've just never known how to take a screen shot.

Make sure the device manager is the active window and press alt+print screen
Then you can paste it into paint or any other software you might have and save it. Then upload

Mine failed to install drivers on new computer. I did it several times until it worked. Make sure you have good wifi signal, close program completely each time before attempting, use correct cord, change different USB ports. Restart computer.

Thanks SLA for all your all your help. It was past Midnight... I was tired and pissed... so I just turned off my computer before I tossed it across the room. I called SCT today and they took control of my computer and fixed it. I tried everything you guys mentioned and nothing was working. Anyway... My tune is loaded. This weekend the CAI goes on, tune goes in, and Borla (Ford Racing) axil backs with Ford Racing X pipe. Should be a nice Monday drive in to the office!

Good to hear that you got it working, and no worries I've been there. Patients isn't a strong suit of mine when working on stuff.

Should have seen me toss my computer after I got the program working then the whole think went kaboom the next day. I threw a mild tantrum. At least you have your tune. I'm still waiting on mine tomorrow makes day 7 of actual work days, so hopefully I get it.

To bad they don't have Apple Mac support because we wouldn't have these problems. I tried my old XP laptop... That was just a nightmare. So today I bought a brand new Windows ten laptop, what a joke. Still a complete pain in the ass. I don't blame SCT. I do hope that my third attempt at updating my SCT X4 is a success tomorrow. I want to install my Steeda intake tomorrow when I get home.

Same here... It's only a matter of time, as computer programming is way swifter when using swift on a MacApple. Not to mention shit just works on and Apple, no drama having to search the Microsoft geek world for answers to why the crap isn't working.

I got my new SCT to update just fine with windows 10. BUT ended up reinstalled windows 7 because I had nothing but problems with the free windows 10 POS upgrade.
