SCT X4 or HP tuning device

I am getting a Palm Beach Dyno basic bolt on tune with E85 flex. Which tuning device should I go with?

Personally, I datalog using my ngauge but I’m currently tuned through PBD using the RTD. I had an SCT but apparently some 18+ models have issues in regards to flashing tunes. Taking off from a stopped position, if I didn’t rev my car to at least 1500rpm, the car would basically have no throttle response until I went back on the clutch and gave it more gas. It wouldn’t stall out but it would act as if there was major lag in throttle response. When I switched to the RTD, I had no issues at all. I don’t know what yr your car is but that’s just what I went through with SCT. Again, SOME 18+ models have an issue with SCT devices.

They will tune with either device. I like the new MPVI3 that just came out. However the SCT x4 can be mounted and used as a monitoring device. We have both in stock and ready to ship here from www.lethalperformance.com!
