SCT or Lund Tune?

Hello everyone.
I currently have a SCT tuner loaded with 93 performance tune and E85 tune yet I'm really not happy with the SCT Device which I am currently using the SCT Live Wire+ 5015. The device will either lockup and freeze or the screen will have issues with the touch screen not working. I'm thinking of dumping the SCT and switching to Lund. Or should I stick with SCT? I do like to data log with Livelink software but I'm so sick of the device issues that it has me carrying my laptop and having to directly plug in. I think the LRX Lund device but there's not much info or videos about it?

Any feedback on switching? Lund customer support? How good are Lund Tunes?

I sent them a message about SCT tuning devices, and they said they use them for programming onto the tune, I personally don't like the SCT 7015 or the 5015 both are cheap and have bugs, yet I'm sure their tunes are great

The tune matters. The device is merely a tool. It's not like it needs to be plugged in all the time. It's plug-in, use, throw in a drawer until you need it again.

If looking for gauges/diagnostics/logging...use something like OBDLINK MX+. Or install real gauges.

TLDR; The tune matters, not the device.

Tunemaker tuned mine when he was at PBD. I have few others from them. Very aggressive with the A10 shifting at 8000rpm in every gear....it's nuts. My Centri blower is in the powerband with every shift.

Never had another tune from anyone else. I know Lund is the biggest but PBD is 15 minutes from me plus they did the Oil Pump Gears on my car along with some other work. Car made close to 800 with the stock resonator and stock cat back. I've watched the Alex Lund Podcasts, not a fan of all the bashing. We are all in the same group, not sure why all the shit talking is necessary.

The tuner is really important.

Lund LRX seems to be very well liked by the users and their customer service and response time is great. I still use the nguage and have been with Lund since 2016…..still stock motor.

Huh, Wengerd will use SCT devices now? It's not called out on his website.

The canned "tunes" that come preloaded on an SCT device are only useful for going across the parking lot. Get an actual, real tune from somebody reputable.

You don’t have to like the truth…..doesn’t make it any less true. 8 years of fast same day or next morning responses is great service. Just yesterday I paid for a revision/new file at 2pm. At 3:11 I got an email with a tune file. I logged it and sent it at 4pm. At 4:30 I had a tweaked revision in my inbox. I get some people here don’t like Lund, they can spend their money elsewhere. Doesn’t mean all the good experiences for years are null and void.

I got a real tune from a noted company but I won't name them on this thread, but my sct device is updated and the firmware is also updated, yet my live wire is a real piece of crap, the touch screen is always a problem every time I use it, I'm just sick of all the bugs that come with it, I can't even run a data log without an error code message appearing on the device, so I unplug it and plug it back in multiple times, at this point I don't want to buy another SCT device, doing the data log with live link is very nice and that is the only thing I can do is plug directly into the device if I want to really use it other than selecting my tune, the device is so bad that I had already had an issue with the device freezing while updating my car, The 5015 is a big piece of crap don't ever buy one.. My question is who can point me in the right direction to just go another route in tuning, SCT is done for me..
