Scheduling to build?

Thanks to Deysha, I just got an update from her via PM that my car went into production today and is scheduled for delivery on 9/30/15. Hopefully it takes a little longer to be delivered so I am in town to get it lol. I did have a 9/14/15 build week, but looks like it was moved today.

Congrats StangMan04. I got the same news from Deysha today. Went to the plant today and ETA of 9/29-ish. Let's hope all goes to plan and we get our cars around that time. Got a link for my window sticker but won't be viewable until tomorrow. It's finally time to get excited. :cheers:

Yes, sorry, was referring to music from my phone. Hopefully it works, went ahead and bought one anyways. Found one for $1 and some change won't be here for 3 weeks though lol

montreal ponies is about the only one who hasn't gotten anything yet... seems like he's dropped off the grid the last couple of days. Maybe had a run in with a couple cases of Molson's... or LaBatt's, eh?

My blend date is today, and as usual, SOS showing up on COTUS: "A matching vehicle could not be determined. Please contact your dealer to get status updated about your order." Of course, I know that NONE of you guys sub'd in this thread have EVER seen this. Last info from COTUS was in July on my (?) F150 that was delivered to the dealer that fer shur wasn't my Mustang order. "Still a few bugs in the system."

Bummer! Order priority from the DORA? Unusual options? Small dealership or low volume of sales? Smaller dealerships (referred to as "select"), unfortunately, are at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to allocation. The saying used to be: "Turn and you earn". As in... larger volume dealers ("contact") get more allocations and/or a higher scheduling priority.

I went to the 2 largest Atlanta metro Ford dealers by Mustang volume, and ordered at the one that gave me the best deal. If I would have ordered from my local dealer, I probably would have to wait until after Christmas. That, and they'd probably try to charge an ADM because it wasn't an F150! As it is, Saturday will make a 3 month wait for me.

Hang in there man! Only 48 hours 'til Thursday night... maybe it'll pop on Friday morning.

Yes, very small dealership. I liked the personalized attention and that they didn't bs/haggle with me. It was very smooth and the best price in the area. Really hoping to see some progress this week.

I'm also part of the "no VIN" club. I ordered 7/28 from a smaller dealer and was told to expect 6-8 weeks......smh. Fingers crossed that something shows up this week. If it was at least scheduled the wait would be more tolerable, but at this point who knows if/when it will happen.

That sounds about right now that retail builds are being scheduled. But I disagree with the "tolerable" part. ;) Seemed like no big deal... I knew when I ordered it in June that the '16 changeover wasn't coming until August and couldn't order a '15 after the end of May. Me and the world got on OK until I got the VIN and window sticker last week. Now I'm like a 5 year old waiting on Christmas!

There's this Dodge dealership just around the corner here and they have this beautiful Scat pack 392 Hemi with shaker hood in the showroom. Hummmmmm

.......but i've always been a loyalist to the Mustang since i left the Mopar scene some 20 years ago. Still miss my '69 340 Dart Swinger.:tsk:

Ok so :ford: has got to get their act together and start giving away more VIN's for crying out loud. Only then will i sit back on my Ford stool and drink a cold Molson. :cheers:

I'll be real with you, I've been a hardcore Mustang fanboy my whole life but I seriously considered the 392 Scat Pack while I was doing my research on the S550. And if I had gotten it I was seriously considering the ZF 8-Speed over manual. It's a damn fine car.

Anyway, I think at this point you might as well wait it out because you've come this far, hell we all have, but I wouldn't blame you one bit for going with the 392.

I'm in the same club, ordered on 7/8, nothing yet. When did you place your order? Hopefully Thursday/Friday will finally bring good news. I have a Yuengling on deck.

Rumors of your demise have been greatly exaggerated! Used to buy Mopars... '69 Swinger 340 (traded), 69 Super Bee (totalled) and a '70 Hemi Cuda (totalled). Sure ran great, but sure wouldn't stop or handle.

But... whadryaugonna do with all those parts in the garage? Will they fit the Dodge?

Hang in there eh?... only 2 more days until the next scheduling. And easy on the Molson's!
