Thanks to Deysha, I just got an update from her via PM that my car went into production today and is scheduled for delivery on 9/30/15. Hopefully it takes a little longer to be delivered so I am in town to get it lol. I did have a 9/14/15 build week, but looks like it was moved today.
I think it may change to a little later, StangMan04.

Congrats! I wonder if mine got moved up. Please Mustang gods/Deysha please :hail:
Thanks for the PM, 113. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Woohoo! Thanks :D
You’re very welcome, Dosia!

My mustang is the bottom order. Can you add any info for me? Scalzo is last name
Any help would be greatly appreciated! THANKS
Al
I sure can, TROPCAL. Send me a PM with your dealer’s name and order number.

I want some news like this!!!
You will as soon as I get through some of these 110 PMs in my inbox, MustangBRO. Lol!

We all do!
Maybe by the end of this week, PonyGrrrl.

I checked on your order and it’s already in production to finish building today. The system has not updated to show it finished, but it should in the next day or so. It’ll then be released from the plant and be put out to await shipment. It shows an ETA of 9/29/15 to your dealer, which is subject to change. Keep checking with me. Have a nice day!

Just magical :) Thanks to Deysha and her support to the rabid Mustang community!

I'm in the same club, ordered on 7/8, nothing yet. When did you place your order? Hopefully Thursday/Friday will finally bring good news. I have a Yuengling on deck.
I had originally ordered June 8th but had to re-order August 11th in order to get both Costco and employee pricing discounts. That actually brought my car price down quite a bit.
Yep, like you said, hopefully pay day Thursday will bring in some good news. :hail:

For some reason I thought my order being sent to production Tuesday meant it was being built lol. I checked my window sticker and blend date is set for 9/14/15, so it will be built next week.

Same here. As much as I want to believe it, I don't think 9/29 is going to happen. Hopefully they prove me wrong. :ford::cheers:

I hope they come to an agreement with UAW before my blend date. I would rather have happy workers. If mine takes longer than 9/30, I am 100% ok with that since I couldn't get it that week anyways.

Mine was built on Aug 26th and released on Aug 29th but it still hasn't moved to awaiting shipment or shipped. I am thinking my ETA of Sep 19th isn't going to happen. I just hope I get it before the 30th when my private cash offer expires. Anyone have any clue how long it takes to get to CA once it moves out on rail from the factory in MI?

That's NOT good news. Deysha told me mine went to Area 51 today and is "Awaiting Shipment"... it's DUN! Thanks, Deysha!!!! Estimated ETA isn't until the 30th. Now the real wait begins. Good news is it's coming by truck instead of rail.

Don't know how long to CalyFornYa... but by rail from Flat Rock or Deaborn Truck Assembly to Atlanta takes 12-14 days total. That's from "Awaiting Shipment" to delivery at the dealer. Man, you can drive it in 10-11 hours.

Just checked COTUS for laughs, and it IS funny: "No matching vehicle found. Please verify your input and try again." "Still a few bugs in the system." I'll try again Friday morning... just for laughs!

Just hope it doesn't end up like my first 2011. Showed in "Awaiting Shipment", then disappeared. Dealer called the zone rep and raised hell... nobody knew where it was at. Ended up buying off the lot at another dealer, some 70 miles further away. Got the same equipped car and color for the same price. Two weeks after I actually bought mine, it showed up in Kansas City. That's right next to Atlanta, no???? I laugh about it now, but at the time it wasn't very :censored: funny. But then again, I seem to have the "Feces Touch". Everything I touch turns to sh!t.

So close... hang in there!
That is all...

I saw on CNN that the UAW was going to choose one auto Mfg to strike against. Of course they are not releasing which one.

Early on, the bets were on Chrysler. Their costs per employee hour were the least of the Big 3. Rumors were right down to the first plant... Kokomo Transmission in Indiana. A strike there would shut down all of Chrysler within a few days. Chrysler also has the most Tier 2 employees, who are paid anywhere from $9-$13 an hour less than the top dogs. Ford's costs are the highest @ $57/hour per employee. GubMint Motors is @ $55/hour. Chrysler is @ $45-47/hour.

All I've heard/read is that the UAW will announce it before the contract deadline on the 14th. Usually by now, they've made it public. But Williams is a new president, and I think he's doing things quite a bit differently than in the past. He's in a tough spot... once the contract runs out, the new Michigan right to work law kicks in. It grandfathered existing contracts, but after the 14th, the union can't force any member to pay dues in the state of Michigan. Gonna get REAL interesting.

That is all...

Well that's not good :( I hope there are some updates soon on the progress of my car. I wonder why it wouldn't be awaiting shipment if it was released already?

Just a WAG, but may be waiting for some small part/sub-assembly that they didn't want to stop the line for. Could also be QA found a bad batch of parts. Easier and cheaper for them to replace it at the plant than pay the dealer to do it.

I'd suggest a PM to Deysha, if you haven't already. She may be able to pin it down for you. Better to wait and know it's right than have to take it back to the dealer, where they always seem to fix things at THEIR convenience, rather than yours.

At least you know it wasn't built on the last shift before a strike. The horror!

That is all...

Mine was scheduled for yesterday, and got this from Deysha at 2:11 p.m. EDT this afternoon:

"Also, it was just put out to await shipment today
."

So my guess is... about a day!

That is all...
