Seems like a lot of retail orders including mine, have a scheduled build date on 9/14. That also just happens to be the same date the UAW contract expires on.

Retail order on 6/26 but not submitted until following wk.
Got a VIN, window sticker & ETA of 9/19. Blend date is 120150902 which i translate as 9/2/15 but could be mistaken.

Didn't have problem waiting until now. Haven't had a Mustang since early '90s so pretty pumped.

Thanks to Deysha, I found out my car was switched to a stock order without me knowing. My dealer never said anything. So my car has a blend date of 8/25 which means it's already built and won't be long until it arrives

Cotus worked for me in April and May as I tracked the progress of my order.

Oh man, I should not have read this thread. I ordered my '16 on Friday 8/28 and now I'm reading all this about the delivery time ( I was told late October) and a potential strike.

I don't bite my fingernails but I may start now :frusty:

I was told Thursdays and sometimes Friday. I was also told by Deysha to expect my window sticker on the 3rd with a blend date a week later which would fall in line with this.

Also, if that's the blend date, about how many weeks after the blend date does it usually take to get delivery? 2, 3, 4 weeks?
