I didn't receive or ask for the DORA - ordered through a family friend who is the dealership GM. The order preview showed retail though its very possible he changed to stock to expedite :shrug:

Order number changed to D123 a few weeks ago when I received the VIN, not sure if that's relevant or not!

Sounds like it was placed as a stock order to get it faster to you. At least you don't have to wait as long

I want to start off by saying I don't want to get anyone's hopes up! I called my dealer today to ask about a 16 that is on the lot already, very similar to mine which is still in retail limbo. My dealer told me that they were notified today that it was switched to retail (the ok to buy) and that scheduling will begin on Thursday the 27th. I know by stalking this forum that it was set to switch on the 31st and schedule on Sept 4, build on the 8. Anyone else hearing this or am I getting some bum info?

Without confirmation from Deysha or someone from Ford, I am taking this with a grain of salt. But, still the 31st is next week so not a big difference really.

From what my salesman told me also, this may be true. It may not make that much of a difference as has been said.

My dealer told me the same thing. I dont have a VIN though but she said she was told it will be built in early Sept. I hope it is true...

Deysha PM'd me a few days ago with my VIN and scheduling date of 8/27 for my retail order...just checked this morning and my window sticker is available with a blend date of 9/1!!:ford:

Thanks for the confirmation. I called the Ford Service number and my order is still "in processing" :(

Maybe this will change tomorrow on the Thursday updates or next week. No big deal, glad to finally see some movement for us retail orders.

Yes, I know how all of you feel, I noobed it up myself, and did not use one of my two available x-plans. Didn't think it made a difference except the money.. (I did admit i screwed up right?). Anyhow was told by the dealer/regional manager maybe 8/27 or so or the 9/5 give or take. Regardless am just like a kid with christmas approaching.
