Starting to get lots of questions so figured I would start a build thread, albeit I haven't really started much of a build yet... Will be doing a full engine and big turbo from MAPerformance over the winter.

Currently the car is virtually a stock PP A6:

Tune = Adam @ Tune+ ([email protected])
Mods = ATM FMIC
Gas = E30 Pump Gas
Wheels/Tires = Race Star & Mickey Thompson:

Race Star Dark Star 17x9.5 Rear
MT ET Street R P305/45R17

Race Star Dark Star 17x4.5 Front
MT Sportsman S/R - 28x6.00R17LT

Finally got all my BMR stuff installed, this dramatically improved the consistency of the car. 60's in the mid 1.50-1.60 range almost every single pass:
CB005
TCA045
BK054

Also installed the Dusold Designs Hex Grill, looks amazing and went in easily:

Lastly threw in some big heavy DSS 1400hp axles just to be safe! Those 1.50 60's were starting to make me nervous. Didn't want to break an axle at the track and have to walk home lol...

Some new parts for this trip to track:
Viking Shocks from BMR w/Kelly's recommended setup
MAPerformance Cat Back Exhaust

Well needless to say Adam put a little for MAGIC into my tune!! Car is absolutely flying, especially with some fairly mediocre to poor driving, oops. Not to mention I put a bit too much ethanol in the car so it was breaking up in 3rd & 4th gears, oops. Also only got three passes in last night as a car crashed in the big end, so went home. Wish I could have got some more passes as I still wanted to get more aggressive leaving the line and maybe play with new shocks a little!

Anyhow ran 11.953, 11.874 & 11.830 :)

Best part about Adam's tune, here's the last part of my drive to track last night. How many guys can go run 11's and get 30+mpg?!?!:

That's all the mods? Tune, FMIC, wheels/tires and some BMR goodies to stop the hop? FANTASTIC! CONGRATS!

Thanks guys!! Yeah that's it so far, just order my MAP Catback Exhaust to let it breathe a little. Went high 1.5 60's with bone stock suspension, with the BMR stuff it's a bit deeper into the 1.5's but most importantly just more consistent!

Have to get it on a Dyno after I get the exhaust on it, just to see what it actually makes power wise. Not to mention see if there's anyplace we can squeeze a bit more out of it :D

Besides that just need a lil more boost off the line and then this thing will be carrying the wheels!!

Glad our parts made for a solid improvement and are part of the equation.

Keep it up!

Man, if you make more than i do and ive got way more mods.. Not gonna be happy. Haha. But anyways! Congrats man! Im hoping for low 12s. Maybe a 12.0. I was getting a bit worried pulling 1.6 60s and could hear something in the back when i launch. Not sure if its the tires just hooking up. Was told i dont need to worry much about the axles being an auto. Yet.... Hope they can hold out a lil longer...

Yes stock intake, only thing aftermarket under the hood is the ATM FMIC. Although just did MAPerformance Cat Back Exhaust the other day so we'll see if it helps out at all soon. Definitely sounds WAY better, nice deep throaty sound :)

Not making huge power yet, just using it efficiently ;) Haven't seen any autos break axles....yet... Was concerned when I started getting into the low 1.60 and high 1.50 60's though. Knew I was going to add more power over the winter so figured it was a good idea to replace them before I snapped them lol...

Looks like that exhaust was worth at least a tenth!

Very nice! That DA is amazing. I was getting giddy because it looks like the DA will be around 1600 for me tomorrow night. Hopefully Adam can square me away tonight and I can give those 11's a shot.

Sure he'll get you hooked up! He's been 2nd to none in my book, still besides myself that my car has ran so good with such limited mods...
