So, ive bought a salvaged gt coyote gen2 from scampart. When i got the car seems that somebody threw a gen 1 coyote and the didnt even installed correctly.
STAY AWAY FROM COPART PHILADELPHIA BTW.

Whats my best option here.
- get a f150 gen 2 coyote? Will it fit?? Theres a noticeable difference in the cost.
- get a coyote gen 2 from a mustang? (Last option)
- take apart the scam engine and see what i can do for it?

Btw the gen 1 engine thrown is a 2011 f150 engine

Doubtful copart would know the difference. Your only recourse is taking it back for refund or credit. The scam most likely started with the false assertions made by the person who sold it to the insurance company.

Im in Panama (another country) already paid import fees (very high)
So i have to options here. Look it as a piece of junk, or as a very expensive project

Ouch. Couldn't you have bought a mustang from a us military guy leaving station?

Unfortunately the engine you do have is probably a non-runner

There are definitely misrepresented vehicles sold through Copart. That is not Copart's fault. They only do very minimal inspections when they get the vehicle and DO NOT guarantee that it retains that condition at the time of auction.
As hard as it sounds buying an auction vehicle sight-unseen is totally on you.
Copart allows the buyer (you) to physically inspect the vehicle. If you cannot then your representative can. There are companies that will inspect an auction vehicle right up to a couple of hours before the sale.
If you chose not to inspect the vehicle, or have it done, then you rolled the dice and lost and there's no one to blame but yourself.

The f150 gen2 engine has a different firing order (1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8) compared to the mustang firing order (1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2).

The f150 gen1 engine actually has the same firing order as the Mustang.

If I am thinking correctly the gen2 f150 engine will have different cams for the different firing order. It may be possible all you need is the Mustang camshafts.

And most likely the previous owner had a modified engine and pulled it and replaced it with the first junkyard cheap coyote he could find before insurance took the car. Most likely the engine doesn't even run.

So currently it's possible you can get this engine to run assuming it's a good engine. Or you can buy a gen1 f150 engine and swap it or get a gen2 f150 engine and swap cams or you could get a gen2 mustang engine or a gen3 mustang/f150 shortblock with gen2 heads.

You will want to at least swap to a mustang manifold. The truck manifold makes good torque but not hp.

I doubt he gives a damn about something that inconsequential

The f150 intake sucks for hp... The gen1 f150 engine only makes 360hp. Why wouldn't he care?

If you cannot then your representative can.
If he's in Panama then Copart should have been his representative. That's a lot of coin just to get it to Panama.
