Safety recall PCM software update

Got a safety recall letter today for the powertrain control module that deals with the sensors and I have actually experienced the collision warning activating more than usual even though it’s on the low setting.
But it also mentions manual gear position sensor and no explanation?

I got my letter today - but it wasn't unexpected ...

There's been quite a bit of talk about it on here already, it just seems to have taken a while to filter over to the UK.

I've not experienced any of these issues so I will most likely wait for its upcoming service and get everything done at the same time

Never happened since then which was November 2020 and I've clocked up at approx 5k miles since then.

Had my letter but assume I can leave it until December when it's service is due.
