Yesterday all of a sudden whilst driving I had multiple failure messages appear, collision warning inactive, hill start assist inactive, reverse camera not working along with rev matching stopping and strangley the visible gear on the dash disappeared and I was unable to change driving modes. Turned it off and on and it was still the same, left it for 5 mins off tried again and all functionality returned. The dash itself was tine

I havent had any low battery warnings.

Is your car tuned/making increased power?

Sometimes, cars with increased performance can experience the symptoms you report, under WoT.
Something in the ESC seems to trigger and report the temporary loss of those functions.

If your car is on the stock, OEM tune & you're getting those issues.
I'd roll it into Ford.
In my opinion, it's not acceptable to lose those functions on the factory tune.

I've experienced those symptoms, but my car makes a few more horses now.

I reckon there will be a loose connection on one of the main wiring looms -may just need clicking in. I had a spirited moment or two in mine a while ago, after that the airbag used to come on and stay on, Ford diagnosed and said it was just a loose connection, all was fine after that.

Didn't think OP mentioned airbag warnings. That's a different system.
Where as the warnings for loss of the other functions are identical to warnings I've had for similar driving situations. The ESC is being triggered.
Tuners remove the plug just infront of the N/S shock tower to avoid those warnings & ESC being triggered, on the dyno.
Furthermore, my tuner has addressed this issue, via the tune.

However, in a stock car, Ford's coding should deal with maximum performance on the stock tune, without triggering a loss of those functions.
Again, Ford coming up short on their end.
