Trying to see if anyone has purchased a set of tein lowering springs. Online couldn't find much.

I think they cater more to the JDM crowd.

Tein is definitely a JDM product. Someone brought this up last year. Not much info on them. IMO I'd stick with products more suited for S550s. Steeda, BMR, FR, etc...

I've owned a few sets both springs and full coil over setup on my Japanese cars. Quality is always top notch. Was just wondering if any mustang owners here have actually used them.

Just when you think YouTube has a video for everything, not one Tein spring install or review popped-up for a Mustang.

391lb/in front and 728 lbs/in appears to be the only Tein setup I could find for the S550, and it’s in coilover form. Very aggressive front rates for a street car; I think this exceed’s the rates on Steeda’s full-purpose racecar. The rear is surprisingly soft, though it’s possible some coilover wizardry may be at play. I honestly couldn’t tell you how this would handle — “interestingly” would be my best guess.

Spent over an hour on YouTube with no luck. Tried just going a search .saw some pictures of s197's with them but only 1 s550 and it wasn't the best quality. Went on the tein website and saw 1.8" front 1.6" rear and other sites said 2.5" drop all the way around. The s tech was the only thing I found on springs. I have tein flex fully adjustable on my Nissan and its stiff and good to taking corners but my ass is at the age I dont wanna bounce all over the place.

At this point more then likely going with eibach or steeda. Suprises me honestly that no one has posted anything on them. I did find some people in Europe talking about them but that's about it

lol yep i did the same search as you and came up with nothing then decided to just try it. I'm previously an import guy and knew how good they rode/handled so I figured I couldn't go wrong. The pics I have a just before install and right after install I can take an updated one tomorrow to show after they "settled". It literally feels like stock which is slightly bouncy anyways, I cant tell a difference at all.

400 lbs front and 680 rear. That is one fucked up engineering.
