Bought mine in 2015 when I was 55 had to wait that long to be able to afford the car payment and insurance

As posted above, I was 36, but people were asking me if it was a midlife crisis purchase and I'm like "I always wanted one. I just couldn't afford/prioritize it until now." The guy next door is a year younger than me and came over when I brought it home and said it was sweet and all that. He said his wife wanted a Challenger so I told him to go for it. He didn't, but he bought a new pontoon boat. I figured I had something to do with that splurge..lol

I think I remember 39: seems to me I was just eliminating sporty and racy cars from the stable, getting to the point where I took a 20-year hiatus so I could learn to act like an adult. Try as I might, it didn't work.

65 here, this is my 4th Mustang. I don't think it's always just an age thing. I gave up riding Motorcycles 10 years ago and just switched over to Mustangs. It's a whole lot more comfortable too.

yeah.. we knew how to drive raw horsepower with no nannies.. Dunno how these kids nowadays are such shitty drivers.

Generally speaking, cars now have a ton more HP than those ones did. Combine that with the social media culture that makes people do stupid stuff to show off for their friends and thousands of strangers it should be pretty obvious.

I’m 53 & on my 5th Mustang. Bought my first one in 1991 at age 24. A white 1988 GT 5 speed & I paid $6500 for it. Then purchased a 1989 white GT 5 speed then added a 1989 black GT convert. Here is an old pic of that convert....I’ve always enjoyed these cars & missed them when they were gone.
