Also some of us geezers are for the first time in awhile buying an American car. The Mustang is just that good that I’m sure a lot of guys like myself (former bmw nut) would have bought an M4 or something similar. I really believe the Mustang has pulled a lot of us back. I’ve had 29 cars so far....none this much fun! For every 20-30 yr old mustang driver I see there seem to be an equal amount of guys my age if not older driving these cars.Looks like a lot of mid-life crisis guys in here.... LOL
Mine was a 71 Roadrunner, 440-4bbl / 4-speed & 3.23 sure grip rear, 10" non power assist drum brakes, + the infamous Chrysler loose as fuck 'power' steering, N50-15 rear tires on a 15x8 wheel. The peeps complain about hood flutter on their Mustangs at 100+ mph? My old runner was an unstable deathtrap at 100+. But eh.. that's just the way we rolled back then.Or whose credit is so good they offer zero % interest. None of my money at risk - unless the market counts.
First Vett at 18 - a '60 with a 327, headers, ported heads, 4.11s and two 4s. Insanely fast with drum brakes and skinny white-walls. Not a crisis on the horizon. Just seems to stay put no matter how hard I chase it down.
That's a good thought; just what kind of award are we considering, here? The one guy over 80 needs to get some kind of award.
They say the memory is the first thing to go...49 here, and I think this is my 4th Mustang.
Ha ha! No one that knows me would accuse me of having a mid-life crisis because I've always owned at least one Mustang since before I graduated from college. The Mustang I own just got a little nicer now that I'm 50.Looks like a lot of mid-life crisis guys in here.... LOL
