Soon to be 64 and when I had my '15 2SS Camaro, the guys on the Camaro5 forum
took exception to my posting about passing a guy in a Chevy truck that was blocking
the passing lane as I was hurrying home.
Man, all they gave me was grief. Like I was drag racing or something but just wanting by
this dude.
So, I blowed him away; then he tries to run me down on a curvy road.
4x4 truck against a Camaro SS.
Really enjoying the Mustang.
If I could just grow up....................:giggle:

Just like they were in the 60’s and 70’s, right?
Videos didn't exist then, LMAO. It would have had to have been film.

I'm 47 but pass for 30 something. :)

I was looking at AMG and M cars but the 2018 refresh got me (and for a much more reasonable price).

Be 41 in October. I’ve had 14 Mustangs, 3 Lightnings, 4th gen Camaro, Trans am GTA, 69 Superbee and a Buick special just to name a few.

Thank god the wife is a car girl and let’s me buy and mod as much as I want. She gets to drive anything we have, so bonus for her.

Obviously. My post was directed at his ridiculous suggestion that young drivers today are any different than those in the past.
Back in my day youngling.. 18-20 somethings cruised around in 300hp cars that weighed 4000lbs. The only ones that could afford the big dogs were professional racers and white collar guys.
Now they get parents to co-sign for a 400+hp monster that they traded in a 180hp import for.

My demographic (21-30) is making a comeback. I actually thought of making this thread this morning and then got sidetracked.
I think $$ may be the factor keeping those ages in the higher range. EcoBoost is getting a lot of attention in the entry-level.

Recently retired at 66. I built up a great 410K along with a respectable disposable income fund. Ya can't take it with you. I have owned AMG and 911. However, maintenance on these imports is not for those on fixed incomes. Hence, a new Shadow Black 18GT PP1 6-speed fit the bill. I do not miss the AMG nor the 911. This S550 is a lot more fun to drive. In fact, I got pulled over:stop: the first week I drove her. But, the officer:sunglasses: gave me a warning. I think he couldn't give a ticket to someone who reminded him of his grandfather. Just sayin'.

Your groups are a little off from the industry norm in demographics, I am offended for being lumped in with 21 year-olds.

Should follow as:
18 – 24
25 – 34
35 – 44
45 – 54
55 – 64
65+
